El Rey del Taco (literally "Taco King" in Spanish) has been serving up authentic
Mexican street tacos since 2008. Our mainstay is sizzling, seasoned meats on freshly made
(as in made-on-the-truck) corn tortillas, topped with
freshly chopped cilantro and onion, and a side of sliced radishes, limes, and

Chef and owner Jorge González-Peña is a native of Oaxaca, the culinary center of Mexico. Prior to starting El Rey del Taco, he worked in a number of Raleigh restaurants including the
Glenwood Grill and the now-closed 518 West.
